Run-off forecast

Using radar we can get a rain prognosis and make a forecast for the inlet to the treatment plant or for holding back water in the catchment area.
A run-off forecast is good for the purification plant, as it allows for switching to rain management in a timely manner, Depending on the design, it will typically take 2-5 hours to switch to rain control. Switching to rain control reduces the risk of sludge flight.

Sludge flight reduces the cleaning rate of the treatment plant for days and increases the environmental impact on the recipient.

The run-off forecast is also used for control in the catchment area, so there is no risk of high water when water is retained.
