MUDP is a program under the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark, which supports development, testing and demonstration of environmentally efficient technology. The program supports projects in such fields as water, climate change, air, as well as resources and waste.
The program was established in 2007, and since then it has supported approx. 450 projects with approx. 575 million DKK.
MUDP supports the government’s objectives of an ambitious green transition that shows consideration for the Danish working places in a sustainable and efficient manner and ensures that competitiveness goes hand in hand with care for the environment and the climate.
MUDP helps ensure coherence between environmental policy goals and corporate investments in new technology.
It is MUDP’s obligation to strengthen Danish companies’ competitiveness, create growth and employment, as well as increase exports of environmental technology solutions, thereby maintaining Denmark’s profile as a leader within environmental technology.
Grants from MUDP mitigate some of the risks associated with developing the future’s green solutions and the development of Danish environmental technology.
MUDP is administered by the Ministry of Environment of Food and contributes to the companies’ development of the market for their solutions through grants for development, testing and demonstration. In 2016, MUDP has supported 43 projects with approximately 124 million DKK.
